Hi, my name is Sarah and I would like to welcome you to my Designer Travel Page.

I have loved travel for as long as I can remember! My earliest travel memory and my first trip overseas was a school journey to Rouen, France when I was 8 years old. I remember the excitement of being sent into the Supermarché to buy something for lunch, how grown up I felt speaking another language and shopping in a different country - it was almost too much for my little brain to comprehend! That trip illuminated a passion in me that has never dimmed and together with my love for learning, research and being a people person, all added up to a career in travel which started off as Cabin Crew for British Airways. I went on to live in Queensland, Australia and on my return to the UK, events led me to Designer Travel.

I have been fortunate to have travelled extensively around the world for the last forty years and some of my personal travel highlights are:

• Horse-Riding along Teewah Beach, Noosa, just me, my guide and 32 miles of wild and beautiful beach
• Getting married at Foxhill Manor in the Cotswolds
• Honeymooning at Qualia, Hamilton Island and spending a day on our own Robinson Crusoe Island
• Returning time and again to Maui, Hawaii, one of the most beautiful islands
• Following Formula 1 Grand Prix around the world
• Swimming with dolphins in Florida
• Living in Australia (twice)
• Travelling to New Zealand for the weekend to watch the All Blacks v B&I Lions in Wellington
• Watching Dixieland Jazz at Preservation Hall - New Orleans
• Whale-Watching in Maui & Sydney
• Staying at Delamore Lodge, Waiheke Island, New Zealand
• Driving the PCH from LA to San Francisco
• Skiing in Vermont
• Cruising with Oceania and Silversea
• Seeing The Foo Fighters live in Melbourne
• Falling in love with Sydney
• Wine Tasting my way through Europe, Barossa Valley & Waiheke Island
• Hiking Quinault National Park, Washington State
• Holidaying in the Maldives

I have inter-railed across Europe, travelled First Class and stayed in suites in luxury resorts and everything in between. I love everything travel and cannot wait to put all my energy, knowledge and experience into finding you the perfect holiday, be it a city break to New York or Paris, a holiday of a lifetime to the other side of the world or a short train ride for a Scottish staycation and let’s not forget those sporting breaks to watch your faviourite player or team!
