Julie McKenzie

Hi, I am Julie, and I have worked in the travel industry for many years, the urge to explore and discover new places and experiences has always been a passion of mine.

It was the late 1980’s that I entered the travel business, working as a holiday representative for a major tour operator, Thomson Holidays, you may well remember them? I worked in Menorca, Tenerife, and in Sitges. It was here that my passion for the industry revealed itself during a time that was filled with laughter and good memories and of course lots of hard work.

Young and eager to see the world, I quickly fell in love with the idea of helping to deliver extraordinary holidays and life-changing experiences. Travel is one of life’s true joys, and I believe that holidays should enrich the soul with time spent eating, drinking and exploring the very best that destinations have to offer.

I returned back to the UK in 1992 and started a family and I have a daughter, Emillie & a grand-daughter, Aurora (she’s 6).. Shortly after Emillie was born, I returned to work in the travel industry, working my way up to manager of several high street companies, before setting up my own business, where I specialised in helping couples find the perfect honeymoon or overseas wedding.

I have a passion for all things Italian and have been embroiled in a love affair with this beautiful country for more than 20 years. I trust my intuition and I thrive on seeking out the best holiday experience for you & I would love the opportunity to find you an amazing holiday experience…
