Sugar Beach is a stunning stretch of over 500 metres of soft white sand where you can relax your days away under the warm Mauritian sun. If you like to stay a bit more active, there’s a great choice of watersports on offer including kayaking, laser dinghies, glass bottom boat trips, snorkelling and wind surfing.

For a supplementary fee, guests can take a PADI diving course, go deep sea fishing, water-ski, para-sail or join a catamaran cruise.Back at the resort, the magnificent main pool offers relaxation and refreshing water when you need to cool off and the South Pool is a designated quiet pool for when you require a peaceful place.

There are six floodlit tennis courts, table tennis, badminton, mountain bikes, volleyball, mini-football, aqua gym classes, water polo, water volleyball and water basketball. You can also keep fit with aerobics classes, martial arts, step stretching, yoga, cardio gym and Pilates. Young guests have lots of fun at the Sun Kids Club and the Teens Club with plenty of activities to keep them engaged.

Golf enthusiasts can take advantage of free access to the famous Ile aux Cerfs golf club and a reduced tariff for the Tamarina Golf Club, just 15 minutes away from the resort.

Standard Room

Garden and Ocean View Standard Rooms area available, furnished in a contemporary colonial style.

Superior Room

Superior Rooms can be booked with either a garden or ocean view and are styled as Standard Rooms but have a larger bathroom with bath, shower and separate WC and the dressing area is also larger.

Superior Rooms Beach Access are also available.

Villa Suites Beach Access

Comfortable suites with contemporary interiors, sitting room and bedroom, direct access to the beach and magnificent ocean views.

Mon Plaisir: The main restaurant at Sugar Beach which serves delicious Mauritian cuisine and international buffets. Watch the Mauritian chefs skills as they cook in the open kitchens.

Tides: Have a light lunch or sumptuous dinner right on the beach just metres away from the lagoon or next to the pool. Tides serves international cuisine which celebrates the bounty of the sea.

Citronella’s Café: Italian cuisine served in an excellent location, facing the deep blue ocean.

Paul & Virginie Restaurant: A traditional Mauritian restaurant on the beach at La Pirogue. The thatched pavilions have views of the Indian Ocean and provide and romantic setting for a leisurely dining experience. Serves popular local dishes, pizzas, salads and sandwiches for lunch with seafood and stir-fry dishes taking centre stage at dinner.
