Families are very much part of Almyra. In fact, the care begins before you get on the plane. Its popular Baby Go Lightly service offers the opportunity to request every manner of baby item - from car seats to story books and DVDs, potties, high chairs, nappies, sterilisers, extra bottles and teats, child buggies and more - order online in advance of travelling. 
 

Six month to eleven year olds can be left at the hotels kids club and crèche, safe in the knowledge that they'll be cared for by qualified staff and entertained by a huge selection of indoor and outdoor free play activities. 
 

Paid activities include cooking classes, T-shirt printing, beach games and treasure hunts. The Smiling Dolphin Kids Club is open six days a week, from March to November. Places are limited so pre-booking is advised. Besides a children's playroom and playground, Almyra also has a specially-designed shallow swimming pool - shaded in summer, heated in winter, plus waterskiing and scubadiving lessons.

Among the 190 airy rooms and suites and part of the main building, Junior Suites and Kyma Suites can accommodate one extra bed and a baby cot. Interconnecting Superior Sea View rooms are also available. Signature Suites have rooftop terraces offering wonderful views of the old harbour.
