The Cliff Bay has an impressive cliff-top location which affords magnificent views of Funchal Bay. Located close to the oceanfront promenade and just two kilometres from the centre of Funchal, this luxurious hotel offers superb accommodation, tropical gardens and fantastic dining options - including a restaurant awarded two Michelin stars.

Guests will never tire of looking at the breath-taking sea views at this majestic hotel which is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. There are plenty of places to relax or take a dip: there’s an outdoor sea-water pool, direct private access to the sea, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, children’s pool, chill-out zone next to the sea, solarium area and an indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi. Diving and snorkelling lessons can be booked via the hotel.

For a spot of pampering, the Spa is the place to be – with eight treatment rooms, a suite, outdoor gazebo for spa treatments, relaxation room, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Enjoy a massage, beauty treatment or therapy.

Other amenities include a tennis court, table tennis, billiard room, children’s playroom, library and games room. A free shuttle bus between the hotel and town centre operates 7 times a day.
