The African inspiration for the Heritage can be found everywhere; subtle colours used in décor that is
pure and restrained: warm colours – ochre, tawny port, saffron, chestnut, - deeply coloured woods,
Wengé (an indigenous timber) doors, copper, African and Madagascan furniture and objects of
unusual originality. The interior designer Virginie Koenig has created a style that is subtly ethnic, and
perfectly adapted to our tropical surroundings producing an ambience of relaxed elegance.
At sunset, it is pure Africa that fires up the ochre tints of the earth and the flaming colours on the
horizon before night finally falls and the hotel adorned with softly filtered lights and echoing gently
with nocturnal murmuring issues an
irresistible appeal to the imagination…  Nestled in lush green surroundings, the pavilions
of ochre coloured masonry roofed with thatch,
house the guest rooms of the Heritage Golf & Spa
Resort: 154 Deluxe rooms (52 m2), 5 suites of
