Best time to visit| It's generally hot and dry. The best times to visit are from February to April and October to November when the weather is warm. Summer is very hot, with average temperatures reaching up to 41C in the shade!

Hurghada was just a small fishing village up until a few years ago. It's now one of the most up and coming tourist resorts on the Red Sea. It's the perfect place to enjoy aquatic sports as the unique underwater coral gardens are some of the finest in the world.

Just outside Hurghada is El Gouna and Soma Bay, two smaller Red Sea Resorts but equally beautiful diving destinations.

The beaches are sandy, the hotels are excellent and the resorts are friendly, in fact the staff can't do enough for you. It's an ideal place for families too. There is a championship golf course in Soma Bay for those wanting to play some golf in the sunshine.
