Welcome to the vast and diverse sixth largest country on the planet. Australia is the smallest continent but the area it covers offers the world a plethora of holiday choices. From long, golden beaches uncrowned even in the summer months to vast areas of wilderness to mountain ranges, deserts all offering an abundance of wildlife and native flora and fauna. Australia is made up of seven states: -

New South Wales – Home to the largest and probably the most famous city in Australia – Sydney. Here you can visit the harbour, opera house or shop until you drop. For the adventure seekers plan in time to visit the Blue Mountains and for wine lovers the Hunter Valley is an absolute must!

Northern Territory – Here you will have the opportunity to discover Australia’s true outback. Visit Uluru (otherwise known as Ayers Rock) amazing at sunrise and sunset; take a trip to explore Kakadu National Park or find out more about the amazing culture of the Aborigines.

Queensland – Choose from five World Heritage listed areas including the Great Barrier Reef and the unspoilt Daintree Rainforest, Queensland really is an all year round destination and an absolute must for beach lovers!

South Australia – Wine connoisseurs the world over flock to the Barossa Valley. This state is a must for nature lovers and offers visitors a chance to see most of the country’s native animals.

Tasmania – Located 250 kilometres off the south east coast of Australia Tasmania is one of Australia’s hidden treasures. Your trip should include a visit to some or all of the state’s 18 national parks, time to explore the underdeveloped coastlines and the unspoilt wilderness not forgetting the opportunity to learn more about the states intriguing history.

Victoria – This may be the country’s second smallest state but it is home to one of the most famous and scenic drives world over – The Great Ocean Road. The city of Melbourne offers an array of cultural and sporting delights and is well worth a visit.

Western Australia –When you visit WA you will discover a whole host of stunning natural environments along with a huge variety of landscapes and climates. Here you can visit the famous Kimberley region an area of outstanding natural beauty.
