Best time to visit| Brisbane weather conditions are nice and warm for most of the year. In fact, probably the only time you'll need to wear warm clothing is from June to August if you plan to go out at night and during the early hours of the morning.
Brisbane is a fantastic city, but it is often overshadowed by Sydney and Melbourne. It's a shoppers paradise and on the Southbank it also has a man-made beach as well as a great cafe culture. It's also the gateway to the Gold Coast, home to sandy beaches and some of the world's top surfing spots.
This area is renowned for many acivities, golf and theme parks but for a more relaxing activity head to Byron Island and try whale watching, you might also get to see dolphins, Manta Rays and turtles too.
