China - tick it off your bucket list!!

I have been lucky enough to visit this fascinating country twice - firstly as a sightseeing tour of the country, and secondly returning to Shanghai for a New Year break.  China really is the ultimate country for sightseeing, from the Great Wall which is awesome in itself, to the Terracotta Warriors, the chaos of Tiananmen Square in Beijing and such sights as the Forbidden City and Summer Palace, to the tranquility of a cruise on the River Li from the towns of Guilin to Yangshou where you can absorb the beauty of the landscape.  The modern city of Shanghai is a perfect city break, if you want to have a day away from the modern metropolis then take a trip out to the water villages and get a taste of 'Old China'.  A visit to China is a life changing experience and will leave you breathless at each and every corner!
