 e hotel only 200 yards from St Stephen’s Cathedral right in the centre of medieval Vienna. Part of the hotel is based in Mozart’s former residence, the Figaro-Haus; the new Mozart museum is just round the corner.

 There is no better way to view the old city than ride in one of the many horse and carriages, a fiaker. Your driver gives you a personal guide of all the magnificent buildings in a leisurely fashion. Carriages leave from the Cathedral near the hotel.

There is a very nice vaulted restaurant off the courtyard where you can enjoy traditional Viennese hospitality. The service at breakfast (Viennese buffet, eggs etc cooked to order). Dinner at the hotel is quite exceptional, peaceful and relaxing, the head waiter and staff are all very helpful and friendly

This hotel is a wee gem in a busy place like Vienna. Although the hotel is very central its position down a side street means you avoid the noise of the nearby Cathedral area, Karntner Strasse, Graben, Kohlmarkt which are the main shopping areas.

Many of the larger deluxe hotels are further out on or near the Ringstrasse (ring road), about ten to fifteen minutes walk from the Cathedral, so the Konig Von Ungarn is a good choice.

Schwechat Vienna Airport is just 10 miles from the centre – there is a combined rail and taxi fare available taking only16 minutes for the train portion.
