The word 'qualia' is derived from Latin and refers to a collection of sensory experiences, a perfect description for this world-class resort. Located on Hamilton Island in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, qualia proves a perfect base to explore one of the world's most stunning and fascinating underwater marvels.
The resort is distinctively Australian in style with much of the resort crafted from locally sourced timbers and stone thus ensuing the least possible impact on the natural environment.
Stay in one of the resorts exquisitely designed pavilions. Each pavilion has sweeping views of the seafront setting, facilities include a king bed, relaxing lounge area, ensuite bathroom and shower. The Leeward Pavilions have a private sundeck with sun bed.
The Winward Pavilions provide spacious suite accommodation with a separate living room, ocean facing bedroom and ensuite bathroom. An additional feature is the infinity-edge plunge pool on the private sundeck.
The Beach House pavilion offers the ultimate in setting for privacy and luxury on Hamilton Island's northernmost point. There is a private, full size infinity-edge swimming pool plus a fully contained guest pavilion with outdoor seating.
