One of the newest and most luxurious hotels in Malaysia. The Four Seasons Langkawi is heavily influenced Arabesque in the design, yet resembling a Malay village.
The Four Seasons Langkawi is a truly deluxe resort, located on the sheltered north coast of Langkawi on one of the island's best beaches, 30 minutes drive from the airport and the island capital of Kuah. The 90 guest Pavilion and Villas are all exquisitely designed with an Arabic influence.
Langkawi is one of only 4 inhabited islands out of the archipelago of 99 islands. The area surrounding the resort is a haven for tropical flora and fauna and its stunningly crystal clear waters. Guests will enjoy a selection of land and sea discoveries from bird watching, snorkelling and diving to jungle treks, golf and island hopping tours
The hotel has 91 rooms and villas. The Melaleuca Pavilion Rooms are set back in the tropical gardens in units of four and are either ground floor with patio or first floor with high ceilings, verandah and day bed. Each of the rooms is furnished with rich tropical woods and heavily grained Spanish marble with the small niches throughout the rooms featuring Moorish and Malay artefacts.
The Villas are freestanding and are almost three times the size of the pavilion rooms. Each villa is located close to the beach, with their own entrance, extra living room area and private plunge pool.
There is an 18 hole golf course nearby.
Choose from three restaurants offering a wide range of diffrent dining options. The Serai offers a Mediterranean menu which celebrates some of the finest cuisine that the South of Italy has to offer.
The Ikan-Ikan offers traditional Maya cuisine.
Looking out over the Andaman Sea the Kelapa Grill offers a delectable selection of fresh local seafood and steaks.
The transfer from Langkawi airport to The Four Seasons Resort takes approximately 30 minutes by road.
